Reports to: Executive Director
Hours/Wages: 28 hours/week; salary dependent on experience

Qualifications:
• Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
• Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position, shows integrity and sexual purity
• Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith and policies of The Pregnancy Centers of Central Virginia
• Experience with QuickBooks and general accounting procedures
• Experience with general computer operations including MS Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Suite
• Exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, responsible and works efficiently with little supervision
• Experience with a not-for-profit organization is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or related experience equivalent

Major Responsibilities:
Financial –
• Use QuickBooks to maintain and balance accounts with accurate data entry of donations, vendor payments, payroll and bank deposits
• Process Payroll and appropriate payroll tax payments
• Update and oversee online donation database (SALSA)
• Generate donor receipting in accordance with IRS and Center policies
• Generate timely payment of monthly expenditures with appropriate payment means
• Provide and interpret financial information/reports to meet specific deadlines
• Monitor cash flows and predict future trends based upon fundraising efforts
• Develop financial management procedures that minimize financial risk
• Conduct quarterly reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Manage financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
• Liaise with auditors to ensure annual audit is carried out and ensure adjustments are made
• Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. Board Treasurer, auditors, vendors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the Internal Revenue Service
• Manage and report on budget and payroll
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation in accordance with a 501(c) (3) organization
• Report tax information to IRS, VA Department of Taxation and affiliates as needed
•Work all events associated with fundraising for the Centers, count cash and deposit with Finance
Assistant; after hours and weekend work required during events
Other-
•Supervise Finance Assistant
•Answer phones
•Recruit volunteers to help with events in areas that pertain to finance at events; this includes
working with individuals, churches and organizations
• Update and maintain archives of original financial forms, files as necessary
• Maintain backup of QuickBooks and all other important financial documentation
• Manage retention and destruction of financial documentation in accordance with established
policy and procedures
• Assist Executive Director, Board of Directors, Treasurer and other staff with performing
administrative duties as requested
